AH36 steel plate is a steel plate with a thickness not exceeding 150mm used for manufacturing ships, fishing boats, and marine engineering structures in ocean going, coastal, and inland navigation areas. Steel plates with Z-direction requirements are suffix with Z25 and Z35, and are used for high-strength ships and marine engineering structural steel.
2, Size, shape, weight, and allowable deviation of ship AH36 steel plate
The size, shape, weight, and allowable deviation of the steel plate should comply with the provisions of GAH36/T709, with a thickness deviation of -0.3mm
3, AH36 steel plate delivery status
3.1. AH36 steel plates are usually delivered in hot-rolled, controlled rolled, normalized, and thermomechanically rolled states
3.2. AH36 steel plates should be delivered by cutting or flame cutting
The mechanical and process properties of AH36 should comply with the following table:
The carbon content of high-strength ship plate steel is generally less than or equal to 0.18%, while the Mn content is generally between 0.6~1.6%. AH36, DH36, and EH32, EH36 high-strength steel are added with 0.015~0.05% Nb and 0.030~0.10% V. D-grade steel plates can be produced using controlled rolling and controlled cooling processes, but steel plates with a thickness greater than 35mm generally require normalizing treatment. The delivery status of E-grade steel plates requires normalizing treatment.
At present, some medium and thick plate mills abroad still use controlled rolling and controlled cooling processes to improve the microstructure of the steel plate before heat treatment, provide finer original microstructure before heat treatment, further improve the effect of heat treatment, and enhance the performance of the steel plate when producing D-class and E-class ship plate steel with a thickness greater than 25mm.
7, Non destructive testing of AH36 steel plate
Z-direction steel plates should undergo ultrasonic testing, and the testing level should be specified in the contract
According to the requirements of the demand side, other steel plates can also undergo non-destructive testing after agreement between the supply and demand sides
