Product Description

The steel grade 1.4835 ( also called UNS S30815, 253MA®* and SS2368) is an austenitic stainless high temperature steel with good resistance to oxidation.Type 301 is a chromium nickel austenitic stainless steel capable of attaining high strengths and ductility by cold working. It is not hardenable by heat treatment. Type 301 is non-magnetic in the annealed condition and becomes increasingly magnetic with cold working.Stainless steel grade 304 is the most commonly used stainless steel. Stainless steel grade 304N has better corrosion resistance than grade 302, and is mostly non-magnetic in nature; however when cold worked it acquires a slightly magnetic quality.
