7075 aluminum plate belongs to Al-Zn-Mg-Cu super duralumin. 7075 alloy has been used in the aircraft manufacturing industry since the late 1940s and is still widely used in the aviation industry. Its characteristics are good plasticity after solid solution treatment, heat treatment strengthening effect is particularly good, has a high strength below 150ºC, and has a particularly good low temperature strength; Poor welding performance; Prone to stress corrosion cracking; Need to be coated with aluminum or other protective treatment. The resistance to stress corrosion cracking can be improved by two - stage aging. Under annealing and hardening conditions, the plasticity is slightly lower than that of 2A12 in the same state, slightly better than that of 7A04, and the static fatigue of the plate. Notch sensitive, stress corrosion performance is better than 7A04, among which 7075-T651 state is particularly top quality, known as the best aluminum alloy products, high strength, far better than mild steel. This alloy has good mechanical properties and anode reaction, is a typical aerospace military special aluminum alloy material.
