7075 is a cold treatment forging alloy, high strength, far better than mild steel. 7075 is one of the strongest alloys commercially available. General corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties and anode reaction. The fine grain makes the deep drilling performance better, the tool wear resistance is enhanced, and the thread rolling is different from the weight.
It belongs to Al-Zn-Mg-Cu super duralumin, which has been applied in the aircraft manufacturing industry since the late 1940s and is still widely used in the aviation industry. Its characteristics are good plasticity after solid solution treatment, heat treatment strengthening effect is particularly good, has a high strength below 150ºC, and has a particularly good low temperature strength; Poor welding performance; Prone to stress corrosion cracking; Need to be coated with aluminum or other protective treatment. The resistance to stress corrosion cracking can be improved by two - stage aging. Under annealing and hardening conditions, the plasticity is slightly lower than that of 2A12 in the same state, slightly better than that of 7A04, and the static fatigue of the plate. Notch sensitive, better than 7A04 stress corrosion performance.
