Product Description

347H (S34709) is an American standard austenitic stainless steel, executed according to ASTM A240/A240M-2018
347H (S34709) belongs to high carbon niobium containing Cr-Ni austenitic stainless steel. Due to its stable element Nb, it has good resistance to intergranular corrosion and multi sulfuric acid intergranular stress corrosion. In corrosive media such as acid, alkali, and salt, its corrosion resistance is similar to that of Ti containing 18-8 austenitic stainless steel. Therefore, it is widely used in industries such as boilers, power generation, petroleum, chemical, synthetic fiber, food, paper, etc. Used for large boiler superheater tubes, reheater tubes, steam pipelines, and heat exchangers in petrochemical industry.
