The heat treatment process of 42CrMo mainly includes four processes: annealing, normalizing, quenching, and tempering. Among them, annealing process is used to eliminate internal stress and improve processing performance; Normalizing process is used to improve the strength and hardness of materials; Quenching process is used to improve the strength, hardness, and wear resistance of materials; The tempering process is used to reduce the brittleness of the material and improve its toughness.
The delivery hardness of 42CrMo is usually 240-270HB. After normalizing, the hardness can reach 280-320HB, after quenching, the hardness can reach 50-55HRC, and after tempering, the hardness can reach around 50HRC. Different heat treatment processes will have different effects on the hardness, strength, and toughness of materials.
Hot rolling can be divided into ordinary carbon structural steel, low alloy steel, and alloy steel according to their different materials and properties. According to their different uses, they can be divided into: cold formed steel, structural steel, automotive structural steel, corrosion-resistant structural steel, mechanical structural steel, welded gas cylinder and pressure vessel steel, pipeline steel, etc.
Production process
The hot-dip galvanized hot-rolled sheet production line adopts the improved Sengimir annealing process, with the raw material being hot-rolled and pickled sheet coils. The production process is as follows:
Hot rolled pickling plate coil → uncoiling → cutting head and tail → welding → inlet looper → improved Sengimir method horizontal annealing furnace → hot galvanizing → cooling after plating → zinc layer thickness gauge → smooth leveling and straightening → passivation treatment → inspection table → electrostatic oiling → coiling → weighing and packaging → finished product warehousing.
