The technical conditions for the supply of SA387Gr22CL2 (2.25Cr-1Mo) steel plate for hydrogen production in China are produced by Wuyang Steel Plant using electric furnace steelmaking. The raw materials are of high purity, good quality, and relatively expensive in terms of cost and price. This technical condition is applicable to the production of SA387Gr22CL2 (2 1/4Cr-1Mo) steel plate for hydrogen equipment with a thickness of ≤ 150mm.
Execution standards
American standard: The size, shape, weight, and allowable deviation of ASTM ASME steel plates shall comply with the provisions of ASME SA387/SA387M standard.
Delivery status
The steel plate shall be delivered in a normalized (ensuring an accelerated cooling rate of ≥ 90% for bainitic structure) and tempered state, with a normalized temperature not exceeding 968 ºC and a tempering temperature not lower than 720 ºC
