Key Notes:
The high chromium content forms a protective oxide layer, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance (including against water, mild acids, and atmospheric conditions).
Nickel stabilizes the austenitic structure, providing good ductility and weldability.
304 stainless steel is non-magnetic in the annealed state but may become slightly magnetic after cold working.
It maintains strength at both high and low temperatures, making it versatile for industrial, food-grade, and architectural applications
