6063 aluminum alloy material. The main alloying elements are magnesium and silicon, which have processing properties, excellent extrudability and electroplating properties, good corrosion resistance, toughness, easy polishing and coloring film, excellent anodizing effect, and are typical extruded alloys. 6063 aluminum alloy profiles are widely used in building profiles, irrigation pipes, pipes, rods, and profiles for vehicles, platforms, furniture, elevators, fences, etc., due to their good plasticity, moderate heat treatment strength, good performance, and gorgeous surface color after anodizing treatment.
6063 is a low alloyed Al Mg Si high plasticity alloy. It has many valuable characteristics: 1. Heat treatment strengthening, high impact toughness, and is not suitable for notches. 2. Excellent performance and corrosion resistance, with no tendency towards stress corrosion cracking. Among heat treatable reinforced aluminum alloys, Al Mg Si series alloys have not been found to exhibit stress corrosion cracking. 3. The surface after processing is very smooth and easy to anodize and stain. The disadvantage is that after quenching, if left at room temperature for a period of time, it will have an adverse effect on the strength during aging (parking effect).
