Product Description

Alloy 347 (UNS S34700) is columbium stabilized austenitic stainless steel plate with good general corrosion resistance and somewhat better resistance in strong oxidizing conditions than 321 (UNS S32100).Chemical Composition of 347 and 347H:
347 contains no more 0.08% carbon while 347H stainless steel contains between 0.04% and 0.10% carbon. Both contain between 17.0% and 20.0% chromium, and no more than 2.0% manganese. They are made of between 9.0% and 13.0% nickel.Type 347 stainless steel is a modification of 304 stainless steel for use at temperatures above 800°F. Among all of 347's properties, its combination of corrosion resistance and heat resistance makes it an ideal stainless steel for food processing equipment particularly where heat is present.
