Audited Supplier ASTM A240M Cold Rolled 409 Stainless Steel Sheet Factory 0.2-3.0MM J1 J2 2B BA NO.4 Surface SUS410 420 430 Inox Materials stainless steel is a universal steel with good corrosion resistance, better thermal conductivity than austenite, smaller coefficient of thermal expansion than austenite, heat-resistant fatigue, and the addition of stabilizing element titanium, resulting in good mechanical properties at the weld seam. 430 stainless steel is used for building decoration, fuel burner components, household appliances, and household appliance components. 430F is a steel grade that adds easy cutting performance to 430 steel, mainly used in automatic lathes, bolts, and nuts. 430LX adds Ti or Nb to 430 steel, reduces C content, improves processing and welding performance, and is mainly used in hot water tanks, hot water supply systems, sanitary appliances, durable household appliances, bicycle flywheels, etc.
Due to its chromium content, it is also known as 18/0 or 18-0. Compared with 18/8 and 18/10, the chromium content is slightly lower and the hardness is correspondingly reduced.
Surface grade
430 stainless steel has the following states, different states, and different resistance to dirt and corrosion.
NO.1, 1D, 2D, 2B, N0.4, HL, BA, Mirror, and various other surface treatment states.
1D - The surface has a discontinuous granular shape, also known as a foggy surface. Processing technology: hot rolling+annealing shot peening pickling+cold rolling+annealing pickling.
2D - Slightly glossy silver white. Processing technology: hot rolling+annealing shot peening pickling+cold rolling+annealing pickling.
2B - Silver white with better glossiness and flatness than 2D surfaces. Processing technology: hot rolling+annealing shot peening pickling+cold rolling+annealing pickling+quenching and tempering rolling.
BA - Good surface glossiness with high reflectivity, like a mirror surface. Processing technology: hot rolling+annealing shot peening pickling+cold rolling+annealing pickling+surface polishing+quenching and tempering rolling.
No.3- Has good glossiness and a rough surface texture. Processing technology: Polishing and tempering rolling 2D or 2B products using 100-120 grinding materials (JIS R6002).
No.4- Has good glossiness and a fine surface texture. Processing technology: Polishing and tempering rolling 2D or 2B products using 150-180 grinding materials (JIS R6002).
HL - Silver gray with hair streaks. Processing technology: Polish 2D or 2B products with grinding materials of appropriate particle size to create a continuous grinding pattern on the surface.
MIRRO - In a mirror like state. Processing technology: Grind and polish 2D or 2B products with appropriate particle size grinding materials to achieve a mirror like effect.
