50CrVA steel belongs to medium carbon alloy spring steel, and the final heat treatment of the steel is quenching and tempering. After heat treatment, this steel has good toughness, high proportion limit and strength limit, high fatigue strength, and similar hardenability to 65S12MnWA, with high hardenability and low overheating sensitivity; When the component is used at a temperature of 300 ºC, its elasticity can still be maintained. The cutting performance of steel is still good, but its plasticity is low during cold deformation and its weldability is poor. Can be used for heavy-duty mold springs. Steel for integral quenching top rod used in plastic molds and die-casting molds.

(5) The critical point temperatures (approximate values) are Ac1=752 ºC, Ac3=LL8 ºC, Ar3=746 ºC, Arl=688 ºC, Ms=270 ºC.
(6) Specification for quenching and tempering treatment: quenching temperature 860-880 ºC, oil cooling; Tempering temperature 500 ºC± 10 ºC, cooled with water and oil.
