Product Description

309s 310s Duplex stainless steels are extremely corrosion resistant, work hardenable alloys. Their microstructures consist of a mixture of austenite and ferrite phases. As a result, duplex stainless steels display properties characteristic of both austenitic and ferritic stainless steels.Both UNS S32205 and UNS S31803 have excellent mechanical properties, with both grades having a yield strength of over 80 ksi. However,UNS S32205 has a higher ultimate tensile strength than UNS S31803, meaning it is stronger and more resistant to breakage.Material to UNS S32750 is described as a super duplex stainless steel with a microstructure of 50:50 austenite and ferrite.Material to UNS S32760 (and the other specifications listed below) is described as a super duplex stainless steel with a microstructure of 50:50 austenite and ferrite.
