Dual phase steel 2205 stainless steel compared to DINEN1.4462 stainless steel (X2CrNiMoN22-5-3 raw material) is an austenitic ferrite dual phase steel that combines the high-quality characteristics of austenite and ferrite, and has excellent resistance to pitting, surface and stress corrosion, as well as high resistance to intergranular corrosion cracking. The 1.4462 raw material also has excellent malleability and physical properties, and its compressive strength is about the compressive strength of austenite such as AISI304 stainless steel. Due to this outstanding characteristic, this raw material can be used in many industries of marine industrial production.
EN10216-51.4462 dual phase steel is a two-phase stainless steel with 21% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum, 4.5-6.5% nickel, and nitrogen aluminum alloys. In addition to high toughness and excellent fracture toughness, it also has high general, partial, and intergranular corrosion characteristics.
