A capillary stainless steel tube refers to a stainless steel tube with a very thin diameter, commonly referred to as a "stainless steel capillary". The specifications of capillary stainless steel tubes are generally small tubes with a diameter equal to or less than 6 millimeters, and are called capillary stainless steel tubes because their diameter is as thin as hair. At present, it can be seen in both medicine and building materials. Usually, capillary stainless steel tubes are mostly used for automation instrument signal tubes and automation instrument wire protection tubes due to their aesthetic appeal; Precision optical ruler circuits, industrial sensors, electronic equipment circuit protection tubes; Safety protection of electrical circuits, protection of thermal instrument capillaries, and internal support of hollow high-voltage optical cables
When welding capillary stainless steel pipes with drying filters or other pipelines, due to the significant difference in diameter between the two types of pipes, the thermal capacity of capillary stainless steel pipes is very small, which is prone to overheating, causing the metallographic grains of capillary stainless steel pipes to increase, become brittle, and easily break. To prevent overheating of capillary stainless steel tubes, the gas welding flame should avoid the capillary stainless steel tube and reach the welding temperature at the same time as the thick tube. A metal clip can also be used to clamp a thick copper plate on the capillary tube to increase its heat dissipation area appropriately to avoid overheating.
