410 stainless steel is food grade, and it is non-toxic. It is not harmful to human health when used as tableware. 410 stainless steel is a stainless steel grade produced according to the American ASTM standard, equivalent to China's 1Cr13 stainless steel material, S41000 (American AISI, ASTM). Carbon content of 0.15%, chromium content of 13%, 410 stainless steel: with good corrosion resistance and machinability, commonly used for blades and valves.
Stainless steel products, it is recommended to choose 304 steel. 304 steel (referring to stainless steel with a chromium content of 18% and a nickel content of 8%) is widely used in corrosion-resistant containers, tableware, furniture, railings, medical equipment, etc. When choosing stainless steel products, you should pay attention to the types marked.
On stainless steel tableware, there are often three codes: "13-0" (420 steel), "18-0" (430 steel), and "18-8" (304 steel). The number before the code represents the chromium content, while the number after it represents the nickel content. The safety of stainless steel vessels mainly depends on the migration of heavy metals. Generally speaking, the commonly seen 304 steel on the market now has less chromium migration.
410 stainless steel features:
